Gaining Momentum

Last week was BIG for our campaign. Momentum and support are growing! In one week, we’ve been endorsed by Central Austin Democrats and Circle C Area Democrats, and recommended by my union, AFSCME Local 1624. Their support means the world to me.

Will you join them in supporting our campaign by making a donation today?

As your Judge, I believe our criminal misdemeanor courts can do a lot of good for the people who come before us. Especially, at this level of justice, we still have the opportunity to help people get back on the right track through intervention, diversion and rehabilitative programs not incarceration. In order for me to be able to continue making this change in my courtroom, I need your help today. Our campaign has a big finance deadline on December 31stWill you chip in $100, $50, or $25 to help our campaign meet its goal?

We’re getting closer and closer to March so I hope I can count on your support on our re-election campaign.

It’s Official!

It’s official! On Saturday, I filed to place my name on the ballot for the upcoming March 2018 Democratic primary. I’m running for re-election as Judge of County Court at Law #3 because our community deserves a Judge who has the dedication and experience to make fair and just rulings that impact people’s lives everyday. And I want to continue doing just that on the bench.

Will you chip in $100, $50, or $25 to keep our campaign’s momentum going?

I have been blessed by the outpouring of support our campaign has received so far (by supporters of all ages)! At this level of justice, I believe we can continue to focus on intervention rather than incarceration. We’re getting closer and closer to March so I hope I can count on your support on our re-election campaign.

Let’s get together at Donn’s

I’m excited to announce that I am kicking off my re-election campaign for Judge of County Court at Law #3. It has been my honor to serve the people of Texas and Travis County for over 30 years as a public servant. In 2010, you helped me reach my dream by electing me as Judge and I am asking for the opportunity to continue my work for our community.

I remain committed to make our courts more accessible and to educate the community on criminal justice matters inside and outside the courthouse.
